WHO ARE WE ?

We are an Irish/French couple living and working in France for the past 17 years.
Leaving Paris 8 years ago for a more rural setting, we settled in Picardie
with our 2 sons and we quickly fell in love with this relatively undiscovered region of France.
We bought our first "dream home" and started welcoming a steady stream
of visitors almost from day one.
(It must be said that we only accepted visitors armed with paint brushes and/or power tools).

Everyone fell under the spell of Chantilly, amazed at the Somme coastline,
rambled through the endless forests and dozed in the sunshine....
and then started asking how to go about buying property here...
expressing their fears about being ripped off, not speaking the language etc..

So when the visitors finally went home, laden down with cases of wine and kilos of cheese,
we decided, after much reflection to start up a small family business
and offer just this kind of hand holding FREE service they were looking for.
And so, Voilà ! HousefinderinFrance was born.
